## Content

**Intro:** Go-live decisions are easier when they are based on a list. This checklist covers the items that most often decide whether an M3 launch is calm or painful, with critical items marked.

**Sections:**

#### How to use the checklist

**Body:** Review the list at least two weeks before the planned go-live and again at the go or no-go meeting. Tick each item only when someone can show evidence: a reconciliation sheet, a signed test report, a training attendance list. Critical items are those without which the business could stop or financial records could be wrong. Assign an owner and date to every unticked item. Export the result to PDF and attach it to the steering group minutes.

**Bullets:**

- Use evidence, not opinion, to tick items
- Assign owners to every open item
- Review again 24 hours before cutover begins
- Keep the signed copy for audit

#### What the groups cover

**Body:** Data and conversion focuses on reconciliations and sign-offs, because wrong opening balances undermine trust in M3 immediately. Testing covers business scenarios, smoke tests in the production tenant and defect status. Security and integration checks roles, segregation of duties and partner connections. People and support ensure users can work on day one, with help close at hand. Adapt the list for regulated industries by adding items for validation, quality records and traceability.

#### Reading the result

**Body:** If any critical item is open, the default answer is no-go unless the steering group knowingly accepts the risk and records why. A long tail of non-critical items is normal; look at the pattern. Many open items in one group, such as people and support, suggests that group needs more focus. Use the list again after go-live as the base for the hypercare review and lessons learned.

#### Common mistakes

**Body:** Teams tick items based on plans rather than completed work. Others skip performance testing and discover slow screens with real users. Another frequent gap is not testing printing and labels in the production environment. Finally, many projects have no clear owner for support after hypercare, which turns small issues into lasting frustration.

**Cta:** If you want an independent view of your readiness before the go or no-go meeting, Netray can connect you with an M3 practitioner for a short review.

**Faq:**

#### How early should we start this checklist?

**Answer:** Start about four to six weeks before go-live so there is time to fix gaps. Review weekly at first, then daily in the last week. Early use also helps expose items, such as training scheduling, that cannot be solved in a day.

#### What if a critical item is not complete?

**Answer:** Escalate to the steering group. Either delay, or accept the risk with a documented mitigation, owner and deadline. Do not quietly downgrade critical items to make the list look green. That undermines the purpose of the checklist.

#### Does the list include regulatory items?

**Answer:** Only in a general way. Add items for your industry, such as traceability, lot control, export rules or quality system validation. Regulated manufacturers should have their quality team review and extend the list.

#### Should the supplier or the customer own the checklist?

**Answer:** The project manager maintains it, but the customer's business owners confirm their items. Shared ownership works best: the provider shows technical readiness and the customer confirms business readiness.
