## Content

**Intro:** When a manufacturer starts planning a move from E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud, the first question is always which product replaces which module. This reference gives the mapping and the main change each one brings.

**Sections:**

#### How to use the map

**Body:** Filter by family to scope the SCM wave separately from financials. Search for a legacy module name and read the change column before you size effort. Export the table into your project scoping workbook and add columns for owner, interface count and customization count.

**Bullets:**

- Scope SCM and Financials in one view
- Add owner and customization columns after export
- Use as an agenda for the first fit gap workshops

#### Re-implement, do not lift and shift

**Body:** Fusion is a different product with a different data model, not an upgrade of EBS. Customizations to forms, PL/SQL and workflows do not carry over. Plan for configuration, extensions and integration redesign. Data moves through FBDI, REST or other loaders after cleansing, not by database copy.

#### Common mistakes

**Body:** Teams often scope by module name alone. Two EBS modules may map to one Fusion product, and one EBS module may split across two. Another mistake is forgetting adjacent areas such as reporting, security roles and integrations, which usually carry more work than the module setup itself.

**Bullets:**

- Count integrations per module, not just screens
- Replace custom reports using BI Publisher or OTBI
- Redesign security rather than copying responsibilities

**Cta:** If you maintain a large EBS customization estate, we can help inventory what needs rebuilding and where an AI assistant over your data reduces report and query workload during the transition.

**Faq:**

#### Does every EBS module have a Fusion equivalent?

**Answer:** Most core modules do, but not all features carry over. Some EBS capabilities are covered by different products or are not available. Always check the current release functionality for your specific processes before committing to a scope.

#### Can I migrate customizations?

**Answer:** Not directly. Forms, PL/SQL packages and workflows have no automatic path. You re-create the requirement with configuration, Application Composer, extensions, or integrations. This is why a customization inventory is an early migration deliverable.

#### Is Fusion Manufacturing suitable for process manufacturers?

**Answer:** Fusion Manufacturing supports process industries in addition to discrete, but fit depends on your formulation, lot and yield needs. Validate against your recipes in a fit gap before assuming parity with OPM.

#### Are product names stable?

**Answer:** No. Oracle repackages and renames products between releases, so use this as an orientation tool and confirm exact names in current documentation.
