**Bands:**

#### Not ready

**Min:** 0

**Max:** 39

**Verdict:** Significant gaps in testing, data or cutover. A go-live now would likely disrupt shipping.

**Recommendations:**

- Reset the go-live date until the gaps are closed
- Start with master data quality and end-to-end testing
- Plan at least one full cutover rehearsal

#### At risk

**Min:** 40

**Max:** 64

**Verdict:** The project has a base but several areas are not proven on real devices or in real data.

**Recommendations:**

- Test RF and printing in every area and shift
- Run a full rehearsal and record timings
- Document a rollback trigger

#### Nearly ready

**Min:** 65

**Max:** 84

**Verdict:** Most areas are covered. Focus on the weakest answers and on exception scenarios.

**Recommendations:**

- Close the lowest scored areas first
- Test exceptions such as cancellations and reversals
- Confirm hypercare coverage for all shifts

#### Ready

**Min:** 85

**Max:** 100

**Verdict:** Preparation looks solid. Keep discipline on freeze rules, reconciliation and support in the first weeks.

**Recommendations:**

- Hold the go or no-go meeting with evidence
- Keep daily reconciliation in place for several weeks
- Capture issues for a post go-live improvement list

## Content

**Intro:** Most EWM go-lives struggle on the floor, not in the system: wrong dimensions, untested devices, missing labels or an unrehearsed cutover. This assessment gives ten questions that expose those gaps and a score with next steps.

**Sections:**

#### How to use the assessment

**Body:** Answer honestly, ideally together with the project manager, a warehouse supervisor and the lead consultant, since optimistic answers from one person hide gaps. Each answer scores from 0 to 3. The total is converted to a percentage and mapped to a band. Use the result in a gate meeting, and export it to PDF so that decisions are documented.

#### What the questions measure

**Body:** The questions cover five themes: testing, data, devices and labels, people, and cutover and recovery. Data quality and device testing carry weight because they cause the most visible problems on day one. Rehearsal and rollback questions reflect that a cutover is a one-time event; you only improve it by repeating it before the real date.

**Bullets:**

- Testing: end to end flows and integration
- Data: warehouse product master data
- Floor: RF devices, printers, labels
- People: training and super users
- Cutover: rehearsals, reconciliation, rollback, hypercare

#### Reading the result

**Body:** A score is a conversation tool, not a proof. Look at the individual low answers, not only the total. A project can score 75 percent overall and still fail if the one answer about stock reconciliation is a zero. Treat any zero as a blocker to discuss, even in the upper bands.

**Cta:** If your score points to data quality or testing gaps, Netray can help with automated checks on product master data and reconciliation reports from your SAP data.

**Faq:**

#### Is this assessment specific to a SAP release?

**Answer:** No. The questions apply to embedded and decentralized EWM projects. They test project readiness rather than configuration, so they remain valid across releases and deployment options.

#### What score is good enough to go live?

**Answer:** There is no fixed threshold. Many teams want at least the upper bands and no zero answers. Your own risk appetite, shipping calendar and fallback options matter more than the number.

#### Who should answer the questions?

**Answer:** A group: project manager, lead consultant, warehouse operations and IT. Individual answers can be biased, and disagreement between people is itself a useful finding.

#### How often should I repeat it?

**Answer:** Every few weeks in the last phase before go-live, and once more after hypercare. Comparing scores over time shows whether gaps are closing.
