SyteRay License & Commercial Terms

Last updated: July 27, 2026

SyteRay is commercial, source-available software developed and owned by Thaare Software Solutions Private Limited, operating as Netray ("Netray", "we", "us"). This page summarizes how SyteRay may be evaluated, licensed, and used. It supplements our Terms of Service. Where a signed agreement between you and Netray exists, that agreement governs.

1. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in SyteRay, including its source code, installers, schema and stored-procedure analysis tooling, semantic views, prompts, models of SyteLine behavior, documentation, and branding, is owned exclusively by Thaare Software Solutions Private Limited. No title or ownership transfers under any evaluation or commercial license.

SyteRay is not open-source software. Although customers may receive access to source code for transparency, security review, and on-premise deployment, that access does not grant open-source rights. No MIT, Apache, GPL, or similar license applies to SyteRay unless a specific file explicitly states otherwise for a third-party component.

2. Evaluation Licensing

Evaluation of SyteRay against your own SyteLine environment requires prior written authorization from Netray. To request an evaluation, contact ajay@netray.co or book a demo. Evaluation licenses are time-limited, non-transferable, for internal assessment only, and may not be used for production business decisions.

3. Commercial Licensing

Production use of SyteRay requires a commercial license agreement. Commercial licenses are typically scoped per SyteLine site or database instance and include deployment assistance, updates, and support terms as agreed in the order form or master agreement. Pricing is provided on request.

Because SyteRay deploys on your infrastructure, inside your data center or private cloud, your ERP data is processed entirely under your control. The license covers the software; your data remains yours.

4. Restrictions

Unless expressly authorized in a signed agreement with Netray, you may not:

  • Redistribute, publish, sublicense, sell, or rent SyteRay or any portion of its source code.
  • Offer SyteRay to third parties as a hosted, managed, or resold service (no SaaS, managed-service, or reseller use without a separate agreement).
  • Use SyteRay source code, schema packs, or stored-procedure catalogs to build or assist a competing product.
  • Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
  • Use SyteRay beyond the sites, instances, or user counts stated in your order form.

5. Third-Party Components & Trademarks

SyteRay incorporates third-party open-source components that remain governed by their own licenses; a notices file accompanies each distribution. Infor, SyteLine, CloudSuite, and CloudSuite Industrial are trademarks of Infor and its affiliates. SyteRay is an independent product of Netray and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Infor.
