Questions

What does the S/4HANA conversion planner produce?

A recommended path (system conversion, new implementation or selective data transition) with the scoring behind it and the inputs that would change it, a readiness score by area with the must-do prerequisites, a phase plan from an editable effort model, a downtime estimate, a simplification checklist for your modules and the ECC and S/4HANA support dates against your go-live.

Where do the support dates come from?

From SAP's public maintenance strategy pages and SAP news posts, listed with the date they were read. ECC 6.0 mainstream maintenance ends at the end of 2027, optional extended maintenance runs to the end of 2030, and a transition option for SAP ERP, private edition covers 2031 to 2033 under conditions SAP sets.

Are the effort numbers benchmarks?

No. They are placeholders that make the model readable. Every assumption is editable and shown next to the formula that uses it, so you can replace it with your own ATC, SI-Check and sandbox results.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything works without logging in, including PDF, Excel and Word export. A free account lets you save the plan and reopen it on another device.
