Pick a role, the SYSPRO modules you need and the hours you can spend each week, and get a dated week by week plan. Every lesson names the real SYSPRO 8 programs to practice in, from Sales Order Entry, Job Issues and AP Invoice Posting to Operator Maintenance, Setup Options and e.net business objects such as SORTOI. Tick lessons off as you go, save the plan to your account and export it for your team.

3Schedule
Lessons are spread over working days. A lesson that does not fit in a week moves to the next one.
Practice in a test company, never in your live company. Program names follow the SYSPRO 8 2026 R1 online help; modules you have not licensed will not appear in your Program List, and names can differ slightly in older releases.

How to use it
- 1
Pick a role. Choose the role you are training for. It selects the lessons and the modules a person in that role usually needs.
- 2
Choose modules. Add or remove modules. Navigation and basics are always included. Turn on advanced lessons for setup, period end and design topics.
- 3
Set your schedule. Enter hours per week and a start date. Lessons are packed into weeks and given target dates on working days.
- 4
Practice in a test company. Work through each lesson in a test company, for example one made with Company Clone, never in the live company, and tick it off.

Questions
Where do I find official SYSPRO training?
SYSPRO delivers training through LearnIt Online, a self-paced e-learning platform, and Facilitated Learning, live instructor-led workshops in virtual classrooms. Customers and partners with an active subscription reach LearnIt Online through the SYSPRO Customer Portal with their SYSPRO Online profile.
Is there SYSPRO certification?
Yes. SYSPRO lists official certifications with digital badges as part of its training offering, and the Partner Pro program includes certification and training for partners. Exam names, prerequisites and costs are not published on the public pages; check them in LearnIt Online.
Is SYSPRO an accounting system?
It is a full ERP. The finance modules are General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Book, Assets Register and Electronic Funds Transfer, alongside distribution modules such as Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Inventory, and manufacturing modules such as Bill of Materials, Work in Progress and Requirements Planning.
How often does SYSPRO release a new version?
SYSPRO 8 ships named releases. The help site lists two releases a year from 2018 R1 to 2021 R2, one a year from 2022 to 2025, and 2026 R1 and 2026 R2. Moving to 2026 R1 from 2024 or earlier needs a new license.
How is SYSPRO licensed?
The help describes concurrency licensing shared by the SYSPRO Desktop and SYSPRO Web UI (Avanti), modules sold as bundled solutions or add-ons, and e.net business objects licensed by functional area. SYSPRO does not publish list prices on its product pages; get a quote from SYSPRO or a partner.
How long does it take to learn SYSPRO?
It depends on the role and modules. Use the builder: an end user with two modules is a few weeks at a few hours a week, while a functional consultant covering nine modules with advanced lessons is several times that. The plan shows total hours and a finish date for your choices.
What does a SYSPRO developer need to learn?
Business objects (XML in, XML out) such as SORTOI and INVQRY, customization with Customization Management and Visual Designer, Power Tailoring in C#, Application Designer, the Rules Engine, SYSPRO OData and the Open Reporting API.
Can I practice in my live SYSPRO company?
No. Use a test company, for example a copy made with Company Clone. Many lessons post transactions, run period end or change Setup Options and security that you do not want in the live company.
