3Schedule
Lessons are spread over working days. A lesson that does not fit in a week moves to the next one.
Practice in a sandbox or development account, never in production. Menu paths follow the NetSuite Help Center and can differ by role and enabled features; if a path is missing, use global search or the Create New menu, or ask your administrator which features are on.

Questions
Where do I find official NetSuite training?
NetSuite Education Services delivers it. The Help Center lists NetSuite Learning Cloud Support (LCS), an on-demand learning resource with education plans, the LCS Company Pass course offering, tailored training events, free half-day Learning Labs and certification. Training and certification resources are on NetSuite MyLearn.
Which NetSuite certifications are there?
The NetSuite Certification Resource Center lists tracks for SuiteFoundation (Associate and Specialist), Accounting and Finance (for example Financial Associate, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounting Professional), BI and Reporting, Consultant and Administrator (Administrator Professional, ERP Consultant Professional), Developer (Application Developer, Web Services Developer, SuiteCloud Developer) and an AI Foundations Associate. Recertification has moved to MyLearn. Check exam details there, as the program changes.
Is there a NetSuite user guide?
Yes. The NetSuite Help Center on docs.oracle.com has the online help by product area, printable user guides, release notes and FAQs. SuiteAnswers has support articles, and developers use the SuiteScript Records Browser and the Records Catalog (Setup > Records Catalog) for record and field IDs.
How often does NetSuite change, and how do I keep training current?
NetSuite delivers two scheduled version upgrades a year, with more enhancements in monthly releases; SuiteApps follow their own schedule. Before each upgrade, administrators get a Release Preview account to test in. Rerun the affected lessons and your regression tests there.
What should a NetSuite beginner learn first?
Start with navigation: the header menus, global search, your role dashboard and how a record is laid out in subtabs and sublists. Then learn the transactions of your area, for example Enter Sales Orders, Fulfill Orders and Bill Sales Orders for order to cash, and basic saved searches.
What does a NetSuite developer need to learn?
SuiteScript 2.1 script types and entry points, governance limits, SuiteFlow, the SuiteScript Records Browser, SuiteQL through N/query and REST, REST web services and RESTlets with OAuth 2.0, and SuiteCloud Development Framework for deployment. NetSuite says SOAP web services are removed with the 2028.2 release, so new integrations should use REST.
Can I practice in my production account?
No. Use a sandbox or development account. Many lessons post transactions, change roles and preferences, run imports or deploy scripts, which you do not want in production. A sandbox refresh copies production configuration and data and overwrites the sandbox.
Does this plan cover NetSuite pricing or licensing?
No. NetSuite is licensed by subscription and Oracle NetSuite quotes it per account, so this plan does not show prices. Use the netray NetSuite license cost estimator linked on this page to model editions, users and modules with your own figures.
