Infor SyteLine Certification and Training Study Planner

Pick an Infor SyteLine certification, your experience, weekly hours and exam date. The planner turns the capabilities Infor lists for each exam into a week by week plan of SyteLine documentation reading and hands-on tasks in a test environment, re-weights it toward what you rate weakest, and dates every Webassessor deadline from your exam day.

Independent: Netray is a consultancy, not a training provider or a SyteLine partner. No exam questions are reproduced here.

Before you book

  • Prerequisites: None
  • Recommended experience: Less than one year of experience using Infor SyteLine. Review the training and documentation in the exam guide.
  • Credly badge: Infor Certified SyteLine Associate (key capabilities)Objectives in this planner are quoted from this guide (badge text read 2026-10-22; full exam guide is in Infor U Campus). Compare with the current exam guide on MyLearn.

Gotchas for this exam

  • The objectives here come from the public badge description, which is a summary. The U Campus exam guide has the full topic and objective list; check it before you rely on equal weights.
  • The planner ends with a 'practice exam' task. We could not verify a free official SyteLine practice exam; if your U Campus course has none, run a timed self-test on the objectives instead.
  • Associate and Professional exams are independent. You do not need the Associate badge to sit a consultant exam.
  • Documentation links point to the Cloud edition of each SyteLine guide. On-premises screens and options can differ; the exam guide says which release the exam targets.

Step 2: Rate yourself on each official objective

1 never done it, 3 done it with help, 5 do it routinely. Weak objectives get more time and move earlier.

Step 3: Your week by week plan

Tick tasks as you finish them. Links open vendor documentation or the vendor learning site.

Step 4: Exam-day logistics

  • Request special accommodations

Email InforU.Certification@infor.com at least 30 days before your preferred date with your name, Webassessor email, exam name, request type, preferred date, time and time zone, payment method and any coupon code. Extended time for disability or non-native English is also available (the FAQ asks for at least 5 days notice for that request, the accommodation section for 30 days; use 30 to be safe).

  • Re-read the exam guide in Infor U Campus

Compare its topics and objectives with this planner and type any published weights into step 2. Confirm the exam code in Webassessor matches the guide, because Infor replaces exam versions.

  • Run the Kryterion system check and install the Respondus browser

Infor asks you to do this at least 5 days before an online exam. One monitor only, webcam and microphone working.

  • Onsite exam: last moment to change without a fee

Reschedule or cancel more than 72 hours before the appointment for a full refund. Inside 72 hours a late fee or partial refund applies and a voucher cannot be reused.

  • Online exam: last moment to change without a fee

Reschedule or cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment in Webassessor > My Assessments > Reschedule/Cancel. If readiness is low, decide now.

  • Check your ID against your Webassessor name

The online pre-check needs a government-issued ID whose name matches the Webassessor account. Onsite, bring the Test Taker Authorization Code from your email and the ID Kryterion accepts.

  • Prepare the room

Clear desk, no phone or smart watch, no lanyard, badge, hat, watch or jewelry. You will pan the room with the camera. Stay in view, do not read questions aloud.

  • Launch on time

The exam opens 15 minutes before the scheduled start. Onsite, arrive at least 15 minutes early. The pre-check does not count against exam time.

  • Results and badge

Kryterion emails the result after a production exam. Credly emails a badge invitation within 24 hours of a pass. Topic-level results: Webassessor > Transcript > Result.

Infor Certification Program at a glance

Infor runs one certification program across its products, in three levels: Associate (new to the product or role), Professional (two or more years) and Expert (three or more years). SyteLine has four current exams: Associate, Finance Consultant, Manufacturing and Operations Consultant, and Technical Consultant - Developer. Certifications are valid for 24 months and are kept by passing the current replacement exam. Exam guides with the topic list sit in Infor U Campus behind a login; Infor does not publish topic weights or passing scores.

How to use the SyteLine study planner

  1. 1

Pick the exam and your starting point

Choose one of the four SyteLine exams, your experience, weekly study hours and exam date. The exam facts come from Infor's FAQ, Program Guide and Credly badges, each with a status badge.

  2. 2

    Rate yourself on every capability

Score each official capability from 1 (never done it) to 5 (do it weekly). Low scores get more time and move earlier; 5s become a quick skim.

  3. 3

Copy weights from your exam guide

Infor keeps exam guides in Infor U Campus and does not publish weights. Defaults are equal; type in any percentages your guide shows.

  4. 4

Work the plan in a test environment

Each week lists SyteLine documentation and hands-on tasks. Never practice in production. Re-rate after each week or a timed self-test.

  5. 5

    Book Webassessor deadlines

The exam-day list dates the accommodation request (30 days), system check (5 days) and the 72 or 24 hour reschedule cut-offs from your exam date. Save to your account or export.

Questions

Does Infor SyteLine have an official certification?

Yes. Infor issues four SyteLine certifications through its Infor Certification Program: SyteLine Associate (SYT-630-0426), Finance Consultant (SYT-484-0125), Manufacturing & Operations Consultant (SYT-487-0125) and Technical Consultant - Developer (SYT-461-0225), per the badges Infor publishes on Credly (checked 2026-10-22). Exams are booked and proctored through Webassessor.

How much does a SyteLine certification exam cost?

Infor's Education FAQ lists 250 USD per attempt for Associate exams, 275 USD for Professional and Expert exams, and 100 USD for a beta exam (one attempt). Every retake is paid again. Campus Plus members, partners and employees can get coupon codes.

Which SyteLine exam should I take first?

With less than a year on SyteLine, the Associate exam covers the main processes end to end. With two or more years, go straight to the consultant exam for your role: Finance, Manufacturing & Operations, or Technical Consultant - Developer. Levels are independent, so the Associate is not a prerequisite.

What is the passing score and how many questions are there?

Infor does not disclose passing scores; each exam's cut score is set by data analysis and can change. Question counts are in the exam guide in Infor U Campus. As general guidance, Associate production exams take about 50 minutes and Professional exams about 90. Formats are multiple choice, multiple select and matching.

How long is a SyteLine certification valid?

24 months from the date earned. To stay certified you register for, pay for and pass the current replacement exam every two years. Credly emails a reminder 60 days before expiry. Under the policy in effect since January 1, 2025, older certifications in scope expired, and legacy status does not exempt anyone.

What happens if I fail?

You can attempt a production exam up to four times. Wait 5 days after the first fail, 10 after the second and 30 after each later one, and pay for each attempt. Webassessor shows topic-level results under Transcript; lower your ratings for those topics here and rebuild the plan.

Can I take the exam online, and what are the rules?

Yes, online with a remote proctor or at a Kryterion test center. Online you need the Respondus secure browser, one monitor, a webcam and a government ID matching your Webassessor name. The exam is closed book. Reschedule or cancel more than 24 hours ahead (online) or 72 hours ahead (onsite) to avoid fees.

Where do I find the SyteLine exam guide and training?

Exam guides and courses are in Infor U Campus (education.infor.com), under the Certification Program menu, and need a login. The SyteLine and Mongoose documentation on docs.infor.com is public; every reading task in this planner links there.

Is SyteLine certification the same as CloudSuite Industrial certification?

SyteLine is the current name for the product earlier sold as CloudSuite Industrial (CSI). Older CloudSuite Industrial-branded exam guides on infor.com now return 404, and Infor's current badges use the SyteLine name. If an employer asks for a CSI certification, the SyteLine exams are the current equivalent; confirm with Infor for a specific old exam.
