Oracle EBS Concurrent Program Registration Request Template
Registering a custom report or interface in Oracle EBS takes a clear set of facts: what runs, how it runs, which parameters it takes and who may submit it. This form gathers them in one document so the developer, DBA and business owner agree before anything is keyed into the Define Concurrent Program form.

| Migration captured with FNDLOAD or approved manual steps |
Approvals
Capture the same program definition in every instance using FNDLOAD (FNDLOAD apps/pwd 0 Y DOWNLOAD afcpprog.lct ...) rather than rekeying it. Navigation and form names can differ slightly by release, so confirm against your 12.1 or 12.2 menus.

Optional. The tool and every export work without this. No spam.
How to use the form
Fill the fields at the top, review the generated sections, then export to PDF or Word and attach it to your change ticket. The parameter box takes one parameter per line with its data type and whether it is required, which maps directly to the Parameters window of the Concurrent Program form. Use the request group and responsibility fields to state who gets access, because a program that is registered but not in a request group is invisible to users.
How registration works in EBS
Registration is two steps in the Application Developer responsibility. First you define an executable, which points to the actual code and its execution method, such as a PL/SQL stored procedure, an Oracle Report or a host script. Then you define the concurrent program, which carries the user-facing name, parameters, output format and incompatibilities. Finally the program is added to a request group, and the group is attached to a responsibility. The definitions live in FND_CONCURRENT_PROGRAMS and FND_EXECUTABLES.
- Short name must be unique within the application
- Value sets control parameter validation and lists of values
- Incompatibility rules stop two programs touching the same data at once
- Use the custom application, never a Oracle-seeded one, for new objects
Common mistakes
The usual failures are a missing request group entry, a parameter value set that was not migrated, and an execution file name that does not match the compiled package and procedure. Another is registering directly in production by hand, which creates drift between instances. Always test from the real responsibility, not from the System Administrator view, because request group security is what end users will experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I register a concurrent program in Oracle EBS?
Use the Application Developer responsibility. Define the executable under Concurrent > Executable, then the program under Concurrent > Program, then add it to a request group under Security > Responsibility > Request. Exact menu paths can vary slightly by release.
What is the difference between an executable and a concurrent program?
The executable points to the code and states how it runs. The concurrent program is the user-facing definition that references an executable and adds parameters, output settings and incompatibilities. Several programs can share one executable.
How do I move a concurrent program between instances?
The standard approach is the FNDLOAD utility with the afcpprog.lct configuration file, which downloads and uploads the program definition. Executables and request groups have their own configuration files, so migrate all related setups together.
Why can users not see my new program?
Most often the program is not in a request group attached to their responsibility, or the request group was not migrated. Check the responsibility's request group and confirm the program appears in the Submit a New Request list.
