How to read a fit

  • Native module. Covered inside the ERP application. Some native modules are optional and licensed separately; the module map says which.
  • Vendor add-on. A separate product from the same vendor that integrates with the ERP.
  • Partner / third party. Needs a product from another company, even if the ERP ships the interface.
  • Gap. Not covered by anything we could document. Plan custom work or a process change, and confirm with the vendor.

Questions

What does the Module Fit and Gap Explorer do?

It maps 69 manufacturing requirements, from order to cash through quality, service, projects and multi-site, to the official modules of an ERP. For each requirement you see whether it is covered by a native module, a separate product from the same vendor, a third-party product, or not at all.

Where do the module names and fits come from?

From the vendor's own documentation and product pages, listed as sources on every ERP page. When we could not confirm a fit or a licensing detail, it is marked verify with vendor instead of being counted as a clean fit.

How is the fit score calculated?

Each selected requirement is weighted by priority (Must 3, Should 2, Nice to have 1). A native module scores 100 percent of the weight, a vendor add-on 75, a partner product 50 and a gap 0. The score is the weighted share, from 0 to 100.

Can I compare two ERPs?

Yes. Every ERP uses the same requirement library, so your selection carries over. Open the Compare step and pick a second ERP to see both scores, area charts and a requirement-by-requirement table.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything runs in your browser and the report downloads as PDF, Excel, Word or CSV without a login. A free Netray account is optional and only saves your selection so you can reopen it on another device.
