Module Fit and Gap Explorer

Infor SyteLine modules: fit and gap explorer

Infor SyteLine, sold in the cloud as CloudSuite Industrial, is a mixed-mode manufacturing ERP built on the Mongoose framework. This explorer lists its standard modules, optional modules and the Infor add-ons around it, then scores how each module covers your manufacturing requirements. Every fit links to the module that delivers it, and anything we could not confirm in Infor documentation is marked verify with vendor.

36 modules and products mapped (17 standard, 7 optional, 12 add-on, separate or third party) against 69 manufacturing requirements. Free, no login needed.

Your own requirements

Not in the library? Add it. It is listed in the report and the engineer review, but not scored.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Pick your requirements

Start from a preset such as Discrete job shop or Engineer-to-order, or tick requirements one by one. Set each to Must, Should or Nice to have.

  2. 2

    Read the fit

Each requirement shows whether SyteLine covers it in a native module, a separate Infor product, a third-party product, or not at all, with the module name and the caveats.

  3. 3

    Check the module map

The module map lists every SyteLine module with what it covers and whether Infor documents it as standard, optional or an add-on.

  4. 4

    Compare and export

Compare the same requirement set with another ERP, then download the fit-gap report as PDF, Excel, Word or CSV, or save it to your Netray account.

SyteLine module questions

What modules does Infor SyteLine include?

Infor documents these standard SyteLine modules: Financials, Customer Service, Procurement, Sales/CRM, EDI, Employee Self Service, Payroll and Human Resources, Inventory Control, Material Planning and Manufacturing, Configuration and Document Automation, Data Collection, APS, Projects and Workbenches. Optional modules include QCS, Service, Service Mobile, the Tax Interface, the Credit Card Interface and industry packs for automotive, molding, printing and process manufacturing.

Is SyteLine the same product as CloudSuite Industrial?

Yes. Infor describes CloudSuite Industrial as the cloud evolution of SyteLine into a full suite, and its 2026 documentation library uses the name Infor SyteLine. The multi-tenant cloud subscription bundles more than an on-premises license: Infor lists SyteLine, APS, Quality, Service, the credit card, payroll and tax interfaces, Infor OS, the Analytics Platform and Infor AI as core applications.

Which SyteLine capabilities need a separate Infor product?

Barcode inventory and kiosk shop floor reporting use Infor Factory Track. Rules-based configuration and dealer quoting use CPQ Enterprise Configurator and Enterprise Quoting. Customer portals use CloudSuite Portals. Infor also lists Forecasting, CADlink, SytePlan and Localization Services as recommended add-ons. Check your order form, because packaging differs by deployment.

Does SyteLine have a warehouse management system?

SyteLine manages warehouses, stockroom locations, lots, serials, counts and shipping natively. Barcode transactions come from Factory Track Warehouse Mobility. Wave picking, slotting, labor management and 3PL billing are features of Infor WMS, a separate product, so mark them as add-on in a fit-gap.

Which EDI transactions does SyteLine support?

Six demand-side and six supply-side sets in ANSI X12 and EDIFACT: 850/ORDERS, 830/DELFOR, 862/DELJIT, 855/ORDRSP, 856/DESADV and 810/INVOIC. SyteLine exchanges flat files with an EDI translator, so budget for one. The inbound 850 layout notes that 860 PO change transactions are not handled.

Can SyteLine run process or batch manufacturing?

Co-products, by-products and co-product cost distribution are native. Formula-driven process manufacturing is covered by the Process Manufacturing Industry Pack, an optional module. If potency, recipes and batch scaling are core to your plant, test them in a demo before you mark them as a fit.

How is the fit score calculated?

Each selected requirement is weighted by priority: Must 3, Should 2, Nice to have 1. A native module scores 100 percent, an add-on from the same vendor 75, a partner product 50 and a gap 0. Items marked verify with vendor count at their stated fit but are listed separately so you can confirm them.

How current is this SyteLine module map?

It follows the Infor SyteLine 2026.x documentation library and the CloudSuite Industrial solution overview. Infor ships frequent cloud updates and licenses differ between cloud and on-premises, so treat the map as a starting point for vendor demos, not a contract.
