This reference lists the 46 outbound BODs that Infor SyteLine and CSI generate for ION, with verb, noun and the Infor applications Infor lists as receivers. Use it to scope an ION integration or to check which document carries the data a target system needs.

Verb, noun and receiving applications follow the CSI table 'Outbound BODs from the ERP to integrated applications'. IRC is listed by Infor as IRC (Approva). The list reflects current CSI documentation; older SyteLine 9.x releases may not publish every noun, so compare with the Replication Document Outbound Cross References form on your system.
Map your integration to BODs
Tell us which system you are connecting to SyteLine and what data it needs, and we will send back the BODs, document flow and checks to set up in ION.
Optional. The tool and every export work without this. No spam.
How to use it
Filter by business area or search for a noun such as SalesOrder or ItemMaster. The BOD column is the name you will see in ION Desk document flows and in the SyteLine replication forms. The receiving applications column is Infor's own list of which of its products consume the BOD; it is not a limit. Infor notes that BODs without a listed application are still generated by SyteLine and can be processed through ION by any application set up to receive them, so a third-party MES or a data platform can subscribe to the same documents.
Where outbound BODs live in SyteLine
On-prem, outbound BODs are created in SyteLine and appear in the Replication Document Outbox before ION picks them up. Business events that generate a BOD are listed on the Replication Document Outbound Cross References form. A BOD is generated either by a table change that causes an UpdateCollection request or by a business event that calls a remote method. Custom BODs can be built with a Send BOD event action, which places the document in the same outbox.
- Replication Document Outbox: what was sent and its status
- Replication Document Outbound Cross References: which events trigger which BODs
- Send BOD event action: publish a custom noun from the event system
Worked example: feeding a field service system
A field service or service management application usually needs customers, ship-to addresses, items and orders. From this table that is Sync.CustomerPartyMaster, Sync.ShipToPartyMaster, Sync.ItemMaster and Sync.SalesOrder, with Sync.ServiceOrder if SyteLine service orders are in use. In ION, create a document flow from the SyteLine connection point to the target, subscribe only to those nouns, and test with one customer change, checking the Replication Document Outbox and ION OneView for the document. Inbound updates the other way use separate inbound BODs.
Version differences and gotchas
Country packs change the noun: with the Mexico pack Sync.Invoice is sent as InvoiceMX, and with the Poland pack ReceiveDelivery and Shipment are sent as ReceiveDeliveryPL and ShipmentPL. There are two shipment BODs, Process.Shipment for WMS and Sync.Shipment for the others, so subscribe to the right one. Sync BODs report a change to a record; they are not a request for the receiver to do anything. If a document never reaches ION, check the outbox first, then the ION connection point and its credentials.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SyteLine have an ION API?
SyteLine exposes its IDO REST API through the ION API gateway, using OAuth 2.0 and the X-Infor-MongooseConfig header to pick the configuration. Separately, it exchanges BODs with ION for event-driven integration. Use the API for on-demand reads and writes, and BODs when another system should react to every change.
Can a non-Infor application receive these BODs?
Yes. Infor's table lists the Infor products that consume each BOD, but states that BODs are generated regardless and can be processed through ION by any application set up to receive them. A third-party system connects to ION as a connection point and subscribes to the nouns it needs.
Where do I see outbound BODs on an on-prem system?
Open the Replication Document Outbox form in SyteLine. It shows documents created for ION and their status. If documents are missing, check the Replication Document Outbound Cross References form to confirm the business event is set to generate that BOD.
What is the difference between Sync and Process BODs?
Sync communicates that a record was created or changed in the sending system, so receivers can update their copy. Process asks the receiver to act, for example Process.Shipment to WMS. Acknowledge, as in Acknowledge.BankStatement, responds to a Process request. Pick the verb the receiver expects.
If you want a private assistant that answers questions over SyteLine data and BOD traffic in plain English on your own servers, we can set that up next to your ION integration.
